The Department is fortunate in having an outstanding faculty. They strive towards development of the excellence that our profession requires and deserves. The faculty's diverse educational background, enthusiasm, dedication, and empathy have provided the Department with requisite ingredients to have strong academic programs.
Because of the faculty, PNGE is a world leader in the areas of: fluid flow-through porous media, reservoir characterization, natural gas production & storage, formation stimulation & fracturing, drilling engineering, and environmental remediation. We are developing a broad scientific base extraction technology.
All PNGE faculty support the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) students' activities, and meetings. Student attendance and participation in regional and national student paper contests, and other technical meetings are encouraged.
Indicative of the quality and the reputation of our Department is the wealth of its publications that have everlasting effects upon the industry and externally funded research projects.
