Dr. Shahab D. Mohaghegh is a pioneer in application of intelligent systems to petroleum and natural gas engineering problems. He has been a distinguished author of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and has served as the technical editorial chair of Society's Reservoir Engineering Journal. His research is mainly supported by the national and international oil and gas industry.
