Graduate Programs

The PNGE graduate program offers two degrees. The Master of Science in PNGE is designed to educate and train those capable of performing at the highest levels of the profession and requires 30 credit hours for completion. The PNGE Doctorate program promotes independent research toward the development, presentation and defense of a doctoral dissertation.

Master of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering
 A student desiring to take courses for graduate credit at the master’s level in the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources must first apply for admission and state the major field.
Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering
 A candidate for the degree of doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) must comply with the rules and regulations of the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and the University.
