Assessment Plan

Data Collection
The following data are collected on a regular basis:

1. Course-imbedded assessment results for all pnge courses

2. Performance in capstone design course (PNGE 480)

3. Senior exit surveys/interviews

4. Graduates’ employment record

5. Alumni surveys

6. Employer surveys


Data Analysis
1. Assessment data are compiled on the annual basis.

2. The course-imbedded assessment results, performance in capstone design course, and the results of senior exit survey/interviews are analyzed to assure that program outcomes are achieved.

3. Employment records, alumni surveys, and employer surveys are analyzed to assure that program objectives are met.

4. The areas where program outcomes and objectives are not satisfactorily achieved are identified.

Continuous Improvement
1. The results of the assessment data analysis are shared with various constituencies (Faculty, Advisory Committee, Alumni, Students, etc.) to recommend course of action for continuous improvement.

2. The recommendations are implemented to enhance and improve the learning outcomes and educational objectives.

3. Objectives and outcomes will be re-considered periodically to assure appropriateness.
